Unlike a conventional action trailer, Retta Thala unfolds from the point of view of the second character portrayed by Arun Vijay. This narrative choice immediately signals that the film is not just about spectacle but also about perception, conflict, and consequence. The teaser had earlier introduced audiences to Malpe Upendra, a feared gangster navigating betrayal and survival. The newly released trailer expands this world, revealing how the second character becomes entangled in the chaos that follows.

The trailer charts the growing tension between Arun Vijay’s two roles while placing Siddhi Idnani’s character at the heart of the turmoil.
